(Ben) One of my favorite tracks to play, live or otherwise. Part of that enjoyment was because I got to be the STAR. Plus I wrote a good portion of the thing. As much as Cory laments being "the guy who plays the same solo every time" in any given song, it was something I aspired to with this song, and I was never able to produce the same results every time.
The microphone with which I was recording this show falls over mid-song, and our buddy Kyle, who we had charged with watching the level meters on our mixer, picked it up, shouting "it was on the GROUND!" to some other person. We're real pros.

(Cory) This is a slow version of this, and totally lacking in the spacey midsection that for me sort of defines the song. I'm wondering if at this time the track wasn't entirely worked out and were just testing it out live...I can't think of any other reason why it would have been excised.
