Another one of Ben's songs. Both he and Matt really liked this one. I wasn't so into it, for purely selfish reasons (I didn't get to do any soloing in it, and it was all clean guitar) but we played it live quite a bit. The middle section was always fun to do because it changed constantly, and was probably the place where Ben and I both began to utilize all of our effects in a meaningful way, as opposed to just making a bunch of noise. For whatever reason, Ben felt he could really cut loose on this song, and I think his playing on this track foreshadows his current style pretty well. Matt's drumming on this one was insane too, way over the top and all over everywhere. It was always fun to hear him flex his jazz muscles.
