Another of Ben's tracks-by this point he was writing a lot more, with a voice totally different than mine. "Skates" and "Rayz----->" had originally been worked on as one long track that Ben and I were jamming on in a project that would eventually take shape as Yog-Sothoth. "Rayz----->" made it into a lot of live sets as well, primarily because it was one of the most open songs we had. I don't think it had any really set course or ending, and each time we performed it, it changed. This version highlights our growing use of sample pedals to augment our trio sound, allowing the guitars to go off a little more without worrying about rhythm.
